Insert Support

If you elect to install your insert support, Here are some pictures and some quick assembly
advice. Read through the installation before beginning.

The Insert support is an exact fit of the inside of the router table, this means that it
will seem too big or wont fit right out of the box. This is good. It is designed to be
able to be lightly sanded for installation. This gives you the ability to let it acclimate
to your paticular climate.
Use a table mounted sander or a belt sander mounted upside down on your shop
bench. You want to take a little bit off each side and then test fit it.

Taking off a little at a time is best. In our shop we run 60 grit paper and take small
bites off the corners as well. Use a rounding motion when working with the corners.

If its a tight snug fit, this is good, you do not want it too loose. Tip your table upside
down. Put your insert and insert support in upside down and then put a very small
amount of glue around the outside of the insert support(optional) Tap in the insert
support and then flip the table back over.

Fine tune the insert flushness with a rubber mallet. Eyeball the flushness or use a
straight level to insure that it is flush. Because the insert support is somewhat snug,
it will hold still while you secure it place. We recommend a brad nailer (18 gauge).
One or two nails on each side will do the trick. If you elect to screw your support in,
Predrill both the support and the table. We recommend a #6 size screw or less

Let it dry if you glued it ,and have fun!

The absolute best way to insure a flush fit!

Humidity levels vary. If you install this insert support yourself you will guarantee a
perfect fit for your geographic area. This eliminates the need to use a leveler.
