windows.
Green fees
It can be so frustrating that throwing your gold club seems like a good idea.
It takes time
You can take your spouse
There is always someone behind you rushing you
You have nothing tangible to show after your finished except your scorecard
If the weather is bad you either get wet, or you do stuff your wife wants you to
do.
Mistakes can make you curse
Purchasing beverages or food on the course is expensive
Sometimes you will have to play with strangers or some dude with some really
awful taste in golf attire

Fellowship factor, the shop can be a cool hangout
Depending on skills, the stuff you create can be used
Chicks dig guys who are manly and innovative!

Its another good reason to get a zillion woodworking catalogs
You can eat in the shop and no one will yell at you.
