- Cost of clubs,shoes,equipment is high
- You need lessons so your not embarrassing or a menace to homes with
windows.
- Green fees
- It can be so frustrating that throwing your gold club seems like a good idea.
- It takes time
- You can take your spouse
- There is always someone behind you rushing you
- You have nothing tangible to show after your finished except your scorecard
- If the weather is bad you either get wet, or you do stuff your wife wants you to
do.
- Mistakes can make you curse
- Purchasing beverages or food on the course is expensive
- Sometimes you will have to play with strangers or some dude with some really
awful taste in golf attire

- Fellowship factor, the shop can be a cool hangout
- Depending on skills, the stuff you create can be used

- Its another good reason to get a zillion woodworking catalogs
- You can eat in the shop and no one will yell at you.
- There are no curtains in the shop
- You have a place to sleep if you get in trouble with your spouse

- Your spouse will always want you to build something for her instead of what
you want to work on.
