This is by far our strongest router table insert. It can easily hold any plunge router up to 3 ½
HP. These are the same plates we use in our production shop.

No doubt there is a lot of choices out there when you are getting ready to purchase a router
insert plate. Do you choose a blank, a deluxe insert with removeable rings, or a drilled insert? I
am sure you have asked yourself this question.
The answer is as dependent on what you want to do with your insert. If you don't think you will
be using larger bits, then the 1 1/2" fixed hole might work just fine for you. Having just the one
hole definetly makes this our strongest insert plate yet. There is no other CNC milling done on
this plate, its a solid 3/8" thick.
If you need the flexibility of using some larger bits (say for raised panel doors) then the deluxe
insert might be better.
